My work is about human flesh and human minds. My pieces are made by hand and combine traditional craft elements, such as thread, fabric and wood with more formal artistic methods of drawing in ink. Much of my work is self-portraiture, combined with free-domain images gleaned from internet searches. My work combines impersonality with unique experience, merging public domain with a more intimate knowledge.
